LOCAL HISTORY PROGRAMS
The historical society has announced the 2025 dates for its annual local history programs as well as topics for three of the four:

April 9 - Bicentennial of the Schuylkill Navigation System

June 11 - History of Arlington's Tomb of the Unknowns
-
September 17 - Local Art & Artists
-
November 12 - An Evening with Gen. George Washington
All programs start at 7:00 PM and are held at the Royersford VFW, 730 S. Fourth Ave.​ (Note the new start time!)

SPECIAL EVENT
VINCENT CANAL HISTORICAL MARKER
SFAHS has received a grant from the Pomeroy Foundation and has created a marker to commemorate the Vincent Canal which came through Spring City and was responsible for its founding and growth. Stay tuned for information on the marker's dedication.
